• Describe how networks function, identifying major
network components and their functions, and the reference model
OSI.
• Using the process host-to-host packet delivery, description of
Problems related to increasing traffic on an Ethernet LAN and
identification of a technological solution switched network (LAN Switch)
For problems Ethernet
• Describe the reasons for extending the reach of a LAN and the methods
that can be used, with a focus on RF wireless access.
• Describe the reasons for connecting networks with routers and
how to send data by using TCP / IP on
routed networks.
• Describe the function of WANs and WAN
key features of WAN, and configure PPP encapsulation, routing
static and dynamic PAT and RIP routing.
• Using the CLI to discover neighbors equipment
on the network and to manage the start-up and configuration of the router.
• Review how to configure and troubleshoot a small network
• Expand a switched LAN of small size to a LAN
average with multiple switches (Switches) using VLANs,
Trunks and the Spanning Tree
• Describe routing concepts applied to a medium-sized network and
discuss things to consider when implementing routing on the
network
